Earlier this week, Leisure Leagues PK organized a small-sided football match in Swat, KPK to commemorate Pakistan Day.

The match was organized on 26th March, 2021 in a local football ground in the region of Mingora, Swat.

Players from across the area played in the special match with some superb skills on show.

The day is one of the most important in the country’s calendar. Pakistan Resolution Day, also Republic Day, is a national holiday in Pakistan commemorating the Lahore Resolution passed on 23 March 1940 and the adoption of the first constitution of Pakistan during the transition of the Dominion of Pakistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 23 March 1956 making Pakistan the world’s first Islamic republic.

It is only natural that World Group and the Trunkwala family would look to mark the occasion, given how integral the Leagues of LLPK have become in the last four years. Hundreds of thousands of players have proudly represented the nation in games throughout the land, not to mention the proud way they have played in the World Cups. Their young players knocked the World Champions, Germany in the last tournament in 2019.
